Alternative Futures Group is a charitable company providing support, care, specialist services and accommodation for people with learning disabilities and /or mental health challenges. We are an outcomes-based organisation focussed on providing high quality, cost effective, person-centred services which deliver the right outcomes for service users – enabling them to be in control of their own lives and achieve their individual hopes and aspirations.  We are committed to ensuring that our staff are also empowered, working within a clear framework that gives them the freedom and accountability to empower the people they support.

Our Vision, Mission & Values are the ‘golden thread’ which runs through everything we do in Alternative Futures Group.  Delivering on the Vision and Mission is underpinned through our values and founded on our focus on outcomes; business disciplines; key relationships and behaviours; and the principles by which we ‘organise’ our business. We aim to work in partnership in everything we do, building and sustaining confidence in all our stakeholders. We are committed to delivering services that are local to the people we support, with local staff teams closely linked into the community – and are prepared to dedicate the time and the effort necessary to achieve this. Through the imaginative use of these local connections we can successfully ensure people with complex and challenging needs become part of the communities in which they live.

Alternative Futures Group seeks to be a good corporate citizen in all aspects of its operations and activities.
