Edward Pysden, our new Chair, is delighted to announce that the Trustees unanimously agreed to appoint Tom Cleator to the position of Honorary Life Vice-President to Alternative Futures Group, in recognition of his long service to the Charity and to its beneficiaries.

For Christmas 2011, AFG colleagues at Lion Court decided to take a fresh approach in wishing colleagues a Merry Christmas.

Service Users at AFG hosted a glittering event on Friday 9th December to celebrate Service User involvement in running and developing the organisation. The celebration coincided in acknowledging International Human Rights Day, which is celebrated globally on 10th December.

Lion Court celebrated World Mental Health Day on Thursday 13th October 2011 by hosting a ‘Crafternoon Tea & Talk’ afternoon. The event was to recognise the contribution of Service Users and staff at our Independent Hospitals in raising awareness at local events on Monday 10th October; World Mental Health Day.
