Employers urged to deal with mental illness

For one week each May, The Mental Health Foundation campaigns around a specific theme for Mental Health Awareness Week.  The theme for this year’s campaign is physical activity and exercise, highlighting the impact they have on mental health and wellbeing.

A close – knit bunch

The ladies and gents of AFG Fylde and Wyre are a close – knit bunch. On a Tuesday morning at 10.00am, they meet at the Fleetwood Library for their fortnightly catch up at the Knit, Natter & Craft Group. They take their own crafts, knitting and music and get together for a good natter and plan future events.

DanceSyndrome is a unique North West based dance company. Established in 2009, DanceSyndrome is the inspiration of founder and Director, Jen Blackwell, an aspiring community dance leader, who happens to have Down’s syndrome.
