Alternative Futures Group has a statutory duty to monitor, audit and maintain the quality of the services we provide.

In addition we have developed a comprehensive Performance Management Framework, using a range of indicators to measure our progress in delivering positive outcomes for service users in the key areas of:

  • Enjoy and Achieve
  • Making a Positive Contribution
  • Economic Wellbeing

This is underpinned by the work of the Service Development Team whose role is to drive improved performance; co-ordinate audits and inspections; and to ensure we have appropriate policies and systems in place. We have adopted quality standards, such as REACH, into our internal service audits, which are carried out monthly, and have regular health and safety audits. Performance and management information is collected, monitored and reported to support service improvement and business planning. New services receive a structured induction and staff development programme to ensure synergy with our organisational systems and structures, and continuous improvement across all services.

Alternative Futures Group achieved Investors in People in 2000 and is a recognised training provider, being an accredited centre for NVQ.
