Declaration of Compliance with EMSA Guidance

Alternative Futures Group confirms that it complies with the guidance regarding Eliminating Mixed Sex Accommodation.

All of our independent hospitals are mixed sex facilities with the exception of Lea Court in Warrington which is an all male facility. All of our hospitals are commissioned locally for that purpose.

All bedrooms are single en-suite and therefore patients would never have to share either a bedroom or a bathroom with any other individual.  All units have bedrooms split across two sides of the building, one being male and one female. 

Alternative Futures Group believes that we can evidence that we maintain privacy and dignity at all times.  Patients only share communal areas if they choose to do so.

If our care should fall short of the required standard, we will report it. We will also set up an audit mechanism to make sure that we do not misclassify any of our reports.

Alternative Futures Group completes an annual self assessment against all of our regulated activity and we would report any mixed sex breaches to the local commissioner. We will publish the results of that audit on an annual basis.
