Founded in 1992, by Matthew Clarke, we are a large charitable organisation, passionate about providing Person Centred support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We are a major employer in the North West of England with a team of around 2500 people who provide a range of support to approximately 900 individuals, normally living within their own homes. We also have the skills and expertise to enable us to provide tailored care for people with more complex mental health needs, within our seven Independent Hospitals and two adult care homes with nursing.
Everything we do as an organisation is focussed around the needs of our people; Service Users and staff. We call this being ‘Person Centred‘ and it is embedded in all that we do, enabling us to achieve Our Vision; ‘A world where people control their lives’.
Our services are normally commissioned by NHS Trusts & Local Authorities and may be accessed through GP / Social Service referral.
