Our Management Team
We have a small and efficient Core Executive Team, who provide support to a broader Senior Management Team.

Our Core Executive Team are:

Neil Campbell - Chief Executive

Neil joined Alternative Futures Group as Chief Executive in 2006 having previously held three posts as Chief Executive with the Scottish NHS. Neil commenced his career as a psychiatric nurse in 1977 and has remained actively interested in the care and support of people with mental health challenges ever since. 

On a voluntary basis Neil works as a relationship counsellor and strives to be actively mindful in both his working and private life and to work in a Person Centred way.

Gill Dolan - Director of Operations & People

 

Gill joined Alternative Futures Group in 2008 and now has responsibility for directing operations across all of AFG. She also has Board level responsibility for HR, learning and communications.

Gill has many years clinical and management experience within the NHS, including as Director of a large mental health and learning disabilities Trust and Chief Executive of a Primary Care Trust.

 

Sam Proffitt - Director of Finance & Performance

Sam is a chartered management accountant with a business degree.

She joined Alternative Futures Group in October 2008, having enjoyed a successful and progressive career in the NHS, within a wide range of Acute, PCT, Mental Health and Community organisations.
